RAZR XF is the new gold club from Callaway, and is the best iron that the company is currently selling that will improve your game. It is a beautifully styled club as well as being very accurate and forgiving. It is targetted at golfers who want to improve their game, but who also demand a club that is manufactured to the highest standards. It will go well in a game with the other Legacy clubs that Callaway currently has on offer.
President of Europe for Callaway is Neil Howie and he has said of the new club, “This club is going to appeal to players who have a real commitment to their game. It is targetted at those with a high or mid handicap and is one of the greatest irons on the market for game improvement.”
While the club is, unquestionably, great looking with its dark colouring, it also serves a practical purpose. Having a club that is dark will mean that there is reduced glare off it, which can affect a golfers game.
The head of the club is made from 1025 carbon steel and is weighted in such a way that it has a very high twisting resistance. It also has a face that is made of 455 Carpenter steel, meaning that a golfer will be able to get greater distance and speed with their shots. The club is very playable as it is built with a low centre of gravity and it also has a wide sole design which adds to the ease of use. The grip on the club is also lightweight which means that most of the speed from the swing will be directly transferred into the ball.
Mr Howie continued to say that “This new club is really a shining example of what Callaway is capable of doing in making a game improvement club. It is a premium product that is targetted at those who want to lower their handicap. We have also included a medallion in the head of the club.
This is made from plastic and aluminium and will improve the sound of the club hitting the ball so that the golfer gets more feedback from their shots.” The club will be coming onto the market at the start of next month and will be available in both right and left handed models. The ladies version, at launch, will only be available for right handed players.
